Samsung Galaxy Round: Cool Curved Display

The Galaxy Round – a curved screen smartphone has been officially announced. This first of it’s kind smartphone features a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED curved display, 2.3Ghz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 3GB RAM, 13MP back camera and 2MP front shooter, and LTE-A support.



Design wise, the back of the device will follow Note 3 and Note 10.1 2014 style and feature a faux lether back, and as you can see on press photos, a whole device will maintain curved shape.

Samsung says that the design enables the large screen to be easier to use with one hand, the phone also packs couple of software enhancement that takes advantage of the unique shape of device screen and body.

With the Galaxy Round lying on a flat surface, the user can tilt one side of it up for a quick look at notifications and status, a la the Active Notifications in the latest Motorola devices, or use the tilt to control media – Samsung calls this feature a Bounce UX.



Device will be available in Luxury Brown Color (more to follow later) for South Korean Carrier SK-Telecom within the upcoming days, with a price set to 1,089,000 won – which is about $1000 USD.

It's a Smartphone like no other!



Featuring a 1.63-inch (4.1-centimeter) screen and 1.9-megapixel camera, the Gear will go on sale Sept. 25, Shin Jong Kyun, head of Samsung’s mobile business, said at the company’s headquarters in Suwon, South Korea. The device syncs with tablets and smartphones using Google Inc.’s Android software to make phone calls.

The Gear weighs 74 grams (2.6 ounces), is available in six colors -- including orange, gold and lime green -- and has an ultra-thin screen using organic light-emitting diode, or OLED, technology. Sales will begin in 140 countries, with the U.S. and Japanese debut in October.

Ever heard of Temple Run 2? This game is so addictive, made me have more time to play (first version of Temple Run) than work.

Well now hear much about it because it is the video game that has managed to dethrone the king, Angry Birds. In 13 days, the second version of Temple Run got 50 million downloads while the variant Angry Birds Space, needed 35 days to account for the same amount.

Temple Run 2 is a game created by a couple in Washington . U.S.. Natalia Luckyanova Keith Shepherd and her husband are the owners of the company Imangi Studios which has games like Max Adventure, Harbor Master and Hippo High Dive among others. 

In Temple Run the player takes the role of an explorer trying to steal an idol from an ancient temple and is pursued by "demonic monkeys". The game is available for Android, iOS and the Amazon Kindle . 

The first version of the game was released in 2011 and cost 99 cents but quickly became a free application. Temple Run 2 was released on January 13 this year to IOS and reached 6 million downloads in 24 hours.This application became number one on the list of free apps from App Store on its first day.

Facebook Photo Sync on Android and iPhone

Facebook is rolling out a new feature for Android and iPhone users. Photo Sync, photos taken on devices will be automatically uploaded to a private "Synced from Phone" Facebook photo album.

Taking photos while on the go will now be very easy.
